Here we go, another soap wedding! (Picture: ITV)

Tyrone Dobbs’ (Alan Halsall) attempt to win Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) back was once again destroyed by Phill Whittaker (Jamie McKenna) in tonight’s Coronation Street – who proposed!

Ty convinced himself he’d soon be reuniting with Fiz after Hope’s (Isabella Flanagan) discovery on Monday.

Hope found a folder on Phill’s laptop titled ‘Stape’, leading her to learning everything about her serial killer father.

When Phill was confronted, he told Fiz he was planning on writing a book about her side of the story and that he really loves ‘true crime’.

Okay mate.

So, tonight, Tyrone enjoyed caring for Fiz as she began to process her relationship with Phill coming to an end.

He made his way over to Phill’s house, ready to collect Fiz’s belongings – but then a fight ensued.

The two normal, innocent men, fell into a sea of wet concrete, causing Phill to realise his engagement ring for Fiz had gone missing.

With the ring found, Phill and Tyrone washed the cement off via a very powerful garden hose.

No gentle settings on the hose, soz Ty.

As Phill paid a visit to Fiz, he got down on one knee and proposed.

Later on, Hope and Ruby (Macy Alabi) revealed to Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) and Tyrone that Mummy and Phill are getting married.

Fiz smiled and showed off her shiny new ring – but what does this mean for Tyrone?

Will he continue to try and win Fiz back?

And probably most importantly, will Fiz and Phill’s wedding be one that actually doesn’t end in disaster?
