Ash left Walford back in January (Picture: BBC)

Ash Panesar (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha) will return to Walford in upcoming EastEnders episodes following some time away.

Way back in January, Ash left her family after being involved in a homophobic attack.

The decision to leave Albert Square was also down to Ash’s fragile relationship with her mum, Suki (Balvinder Sopal), who had just slept with Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson) again and refused to apologise for her actions.

During Ash’s time away, Kheerat (Jaz Deol) was close to spending time behind bars after attacking Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith), and Suki has also welcomed Dotty (Milly Zero) into the family after she helped get Kheerat out of jail.

Coming up, as Dotty and Vinny (Shiv Jalota) discuss a returning Ash and her 30th birthday, Suki is distracted as she’s read a very concerning letter.

Later on, Suki makes contact with Eve (Heather Peace), wondering if she’s able to give her any legal advice – but what’s going on?

When Ash arrives home, Suki is shocked, but they manage to make amends.

Will Suki tell Ash about the letter?
