Rash is worrying about his relationship – how does Paige feel? (Pictures: BBC)
Rash (Neet Mohan) and Paige (Shalisha James-Davis)’s relationship is going well on tonight’s Casualty, although Paige is keen that they keep it between themselves in case people think she’s using Rash to further her career. It’s not long before Marty (Shaheen Jafargholi) has guessed what’s going on – which means the couple have to face ‘potentially the world’s most awkward conversation with the world’s most awkward man.’
Yes, it’s time to let Dylan (William Beck) know that they’re together. But is Paige as committed to the relationship as Rash hopes she is?
Before that can happen there are patients to treat, and Paige and Rash have their hands full when a woman called Heather (Amanda Root) is rushed in to the ED after taking an overdose. As they work to stabilise her condition we start to learn what led to her being in such a desperate state, as flashbacks reveal a horrific accident in her past.
Ollie Hide (Harry Collett) comes to the ED looking for his dad, but with David (Jason Durr) trying to get to grips with his new role as clinical nurse manager in a busy department, he has no time to spare for his son. What’s worrying Ollie, and what does it have to do with his friend Rob (Noah Valentine)? Is he being threatened?
As Heather’s mental pain threatens to overwhelm her, Rash realises that they need some help from David who is soon facing a terrifying situation – made even more difficult when Ollie walks into the middle of things.

Meanwhile, Faith (Kirsty Mitchell)’s daughter Natalia (Zoe Brough) brings her friend Georgie (Scarlett Rayner) in for treatment after a skateboard accident. Faith is shocked when Georgie lets slip something that Natalia was keeping secret. Is Georgie leading her friend down a dangerous path?
And we discover why it’s vital to get to a budgetary meeting early.
