Abi and Kevin Webster (Sally Carman and Michael Le Vell) are taken aback in Coronation Street next week, when they’re questioned by the police in regards to a car crash.

The crash in question takes place earlier that very week, as Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) and Toyah Battersby’s (Georgia Taylor) vehicle collides with a building, leaving their lives in peril.

Imran manages to pulls Toyah from the wreckage, begging her not to die, as the ambulance arrives at the crash scene. Will the duo make it out of the chaotic incident alive?

That remains to be seen.

Abi and Kev, meanwhile, receive a knock on the door. It’s the police, who have dropped by to notify them of the car crash in question.

The police are investigating the reason why the car didn’t brake, and thus they’ve turned their attention to Kevin, who’d previously worked on the car.

Both Kev and Abi are then taken in for questioning.

Note the terror on both Kevin and Abi’s faces as they find out that they’re being taken away in separate police vehicles, something which leads them to realise the seriousness of the situation at hand.

Are they in huge trouble?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Thursday June 2 at 7:30pm on ITV.
