Will Peter leave his brother heartbroken? (Picture: BBC)
Peter, as viewers know, was violently assaulted earlier this month while out for a run. Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) carried out the attack, unaware it was his own nephew he was beating up.
Ben, who was on a revenge mission, acted as vigilante, attacking men who had made homophobic comments. He argued with one guy in particular, named Rich, on the day in question, and mistook Peter for this very man.
Peter, meanwhile, has been left incredibly shaken by the assault. While his nearest and dearest are aware of Ben’s involvement, he himself remains in the dark about who was to blame, and thus he’s been wondering why he was targeted.
Despite his fears, however, he returns to work at Walford East next Wednesday (June 8), but let’s just say that his first day back doesn’t go all that smoothly.
Dana witnesses his struggles, and suggests that she be re-employed at the restaurant so that she can assist him.
How will Peter react?
In the past, he’s been rather hostile towards Dana, so could her kindness and generosity result in him showing her the respect she deserves?
What’s more, given that there is tension between she and Bobby at the moment, will Dana bond with Peter?
If so, could an affair be on the cards? We’ll just have to wait and see.
One to watch: Wednesday June 8 at 7:30pm on BBC One.
