UEFA’s Technical Observer panel have picked the 10 best strikes over the last year, with Karim Benzema coming out on top.
The Real Madrid superstar’s first goal in his hat-trick against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge topped the charts for the UEFA panel, beating his teammate Vinicius Junior’s goal against Shakhtar Donetsk in the group stage.
Telles’ hit against Villarreal in the group finished sixth and Thiago’s goal against Porto took tenth spot in a star-studded cast which included Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi.

While the order of the top 10 was the choice of the UEFA panel, fans have the chance to vote for their favourite goal and another of the contenders could come out on top in the popular vote.
