Bad news has driven Martine away (Picture: Lime Pictures)
Martine Deveraux has been forced to make a major decision in Hollyoaks, one which tears her apart from Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) as their relationship crumbles.
Felix has been focusing on DeMarcus, particularly in the wake of his violent beating at the hands of sinister newcomer Joseph.
While Felix was on the warpath, Martine was alone when she got a phone call which left her frantic.
Son Toby has been attacked in prison – and not for the first time. And he has now been moved to a high security prison, leaving Martine distressed.
Meanwhile, Felix confronted Joseph who was unrepentant over what he did to DeMarcus.
With Joseph cockily winding Felix up, he went for him but was stopped before things got out of hand.

Back home, Felix was ranting about Joseph as Martine told him what had happened to Toby.
But Felix was distracted and told her that she knew that his focus had to be DeMarcus.
‘I know now,’ Martine said sadly, knowing that her imminent decision would take her away from her life with Felix.
She told him that she is going to move closer to Toby herself – and she is going now.
The scenes set up the end for Martine, with Kelle Bryan revealing earlier on Loose Women that she had quit the show after four years.
‘Martine’s been a part of my life for so long, I’m going to have to de-rig her now – this hairstyle is Martine,’ she said, with emotion.
‘I used to put a little piece of velcro in my bra because she had breast cancer. I used to carry a bit in there just to have that sense of discomfort.
‘So taking that out, changing the hair… she’s been part of me for such a long time, it’s going to be odd putting her down.’
