Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell quickly reassured finalists Flintz and T4ylor after rapper Flintz forgot many of his words during a powerful performance.

The duo only met earlier this year, but they stormed through to tonight’s finale, where they were up against 10 other incredible acts.

Along with Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon, Simon was on hand to provide feedback from the panel after each performance.

But rapper Flintz and pianist Taylor needed a bit more reassurance than the rest after the emotions got the better of one half of the duo.

During a performance of their latest original song, Flintz kept missing out on some of his lyrics and was clearly frustrated by his efforts.

However, all four judges were blown away by their ability as a pairing, particularly Simon, who dubbed it their ‘best performance so far.’

‘Who gives an S, H, I, T… sorry Eric, if you forget your lyrics? It reminded me of how much this means to you, your friendship and the song has a great hook.

‘If you can write a song with great hooks, do not worry about what happens for a second. I do this every night… I’m not saying this to be patronising, this was your best performance by a clear mile!’

The other panellists agreed wholeheartedly, as singer Alesha reminded them she knew exactly how they felt right now.

Ant and Dec consoled the duo also (Picture: ITV)

‘Artist to artist, you’re going to feel bad, you’re going to come off stage and beat yourself up about it,’ she began.

‘But what you’ve done, what you guys have achieved on this show outweighs any teeny tiny mistake you made

Alesha added: ‘This is the beginning, please try and be proud. I love you!’

Both Amanda and David were similarly complimentary, with Ant McPartlin telling the pair: ‘I completely agree with what the judges said, you’ve been brilliant throughout the whole series.’

While Flintz remained emotional, his partner told viewers: ‘It’s been so good, we appreciate all the comments as well man, it’s been the sickest experience ever.’

But will they manage to walk away with the crown?
