For loved-up Disney fans, a trip to Disneyland might sound like the perfect place to get engaged.

But one couple’s big magical moment at Disneyland Paris was ruined by an ‘evil’ employee.

The proposal was going really well at first, with a viral video showing the man getting down on one knee ready to pop the question.

But as he holds up the ring, a Disney worker suddenly runs over and snatches the box straight out of the man’s hand.

The post online is captioned: ‘POS destroyed my best friend’s moment. He asked for permission beforehand.’

After taking the ring from the man’s hands, the Disneyland employee ushers the couple off of the platform and down to a metal gate, saying: ‘Yes, that’s great but over here will be even better.’

Onlookers could be heard booing after the fairytale proposal was brought abruptly to an end.

The Reddit user who shared the video, claimed his friend had asked a female employee at Disney for permission to propose on the platform and she’d given him the go-ahead.

But then the man ran up and grabbed the ring.

Many were outraged for the couple, with one branding the employee ‘a little bit evil’ for spoiling the moment.

Disney has since apologised to the couple for the way the incident was ‘handled’.

A spokesperson said ‘We regret how this was handled. We have apologised to the couple involved and offered to make it right.’
