Kelsey Parker says she is ‘beyond proud’ of her late husband Tom Parker as his memorial hit the bestseller list.

The Wanted icon Parker was just 33 years old when he died in March of this year, two years after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.

He shares two young children with Kelsey: Aurelia, two, and 21-month-old Bodhi.

In the weeks before he died, Parker announced that he had written a book about his battle with brain cancer, due to be released in the summer, and told fans it was ‘not about dying: It’s a book about living.’

Now Kelsey has made the bittersweet announcement that her late husband is a bestselling author, and said she wished she had the chance to celebrate with him.

The mum-of-two took to Instagram where she shared a short video of memoir Hope: My Inspirational Life, alongside candid snaps of Parker, his friends and their family.

She wrote: ‘My husband… a Sunday Times no 1 best selling author.

‘Beyond proud of my love. What I’d give to celebrate with you one more time @tomparkerofficial.’

Kelsey, referring to the Jubilee, added that the musician ‘would have loved the 4 day weekend and excuse to celebrate this weekend (sic).’

The heartbroken mum continued: ‘I Miss you every second of every day,’ adding: Positive Parkers Forever (sic).’

Earlier this month, Kelsey brought Aurelia and Bodhi to a bookstore to see their father’s memoir as it arrived on the shelves.

Again taking to Instagram, Kelsey shared a sweet video to the soundtrack of The Wanted track Gold Forever, as she walked into the shop hand-in-hand with her young children.

Aurelia’s face lit up when she saw her late father on the book cover and gave it a kiss, while little Bodhi was seen walking around carrying another copy in his hands.

Parker had previously announced his memoir in a heartfelt message to fans, writing: ‘Hi, I’m Tom Parker, a lot of you know me as one fifth of The Wanted, but I am also a father, a husband, and a son, that’s battling brain cancer.

‘My book, coming this July, is not about dying: It’s a book about living. It’s a book about finding hope in whatever situation you’re dealt, and living your best life no matter what.

‘It will show you how having faith in hope and daring to dream means you can carry on, against all odds.’

Just one week later, on March 30, Kelsey made the devastating announcement that Parker had ‘passed away peacefully… with all of his family by his side.
