Victor died in a shocking showdown (Picture: Lime Pictures)
Victor Brothers (Benjamin o’Mahoney) met a shocking end in Hollyoaks after his escape plan went sideways, resulting in shots being fired from his own gun.
Sid, being the kind-hearted soul that he is, wanted to see the best in his former drugs boss, and thus gave him the benefit of the doubt, agreeing to attend his mum’s funeral with him.
Victor, however, was up to no good, manipulating Sid like he did so two years ago, as he plotted his escape.
After his mum’s service was at an end, Victor attacked the guards and took Sid hostage with a gun, instructing him to do as he was told or Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) would die.
Juliet, worried about her best mate, tracked Sid and Victor down in the woods, and Victor held her at gunpoint, threatening her life once more.

Sid was forced to carry out a drugs deal in the eponymous village in order to protect the lives of those he holds dear.
Problems arose, however, when Lizzie Chen-Williams (Lily Best) spotted him mid-deal and insisted on calling her policeman brother Sam (Matthew McGivern).

Sid was left with little choice after the deal went awry, and thus he pulled the wool over Victor’s eyes, making him believe that everything went as planned. Victor, however, soon discovered that this wasn’t the case, and he pulled a gun on both Sid and Lizzie!
Juliet, having witnessed the tense scenes unfold, tackled Victor to the floor, where a struggle ensued, and shortly afterwards, a shot was fired.
It was subsequently revealed that Victor had taken a bullet from his own gun.

As he bled out on the floor, the criminal sinisterly reminded Juliet and Sid that they both ‘took the money’ when they were under his watchful eye, attempting to make out that they were no better than him – a sentiment that stayed with Sid as Victor died.
Truly stunning work from all the actors involved. We’ll certainly miss the Benjamin O’Mahoney, who turned in a chillingly brilliant performance as the sinister Victor over the years.
Victor, as fans will recall, was the primary antagonist of the acclaimed County Lines storyline.
He made his debut in the show back in June 2020, when he rocked up to have a word with foot soldier Jordan Price (Connor Calland).

The drug lord liked what he saw and thus decided to stick around, grooming a number of the eponymous village’s youths.
Sid, having had enough of his treachery, decided to fight back, and devised a plan to acquire evidence to prove that Victor had groomed Juliet, who was serving a prison sentence at the time.
Victor, however, found out what he was up to and retaliated, stabbing Sid.
Ollie Morgan (Gabriel Clark), meanwhile, carried on with the mission, and with some assistance from James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) and Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson), he ultimately succeeded in bringing Victor down.
