Arctic Monkeys have announced a UK stadium tour for 2023, dropping the venue and date details on social media on Friday.

The Sheffield rockers, who released their first new single in four years in August with There’d Better Be A Mirrorball, have upcoming album The Car to tour and fans will be able to see them live soon.

It come after the band performed at Reading Music Festival as headliners earlier this year but banned the BBC from showcasing their live performance – so lots will be understandably excited to get their fix this time around.

The band, fronted by Alex Turner, will play 13 dates across the UK and Ireland, supported by The Hives and The Mysterines, with tickets going on sale later this month.

The Car is set to release on October 21, their seventh studio album following the success of Tranquillity Base (2018) and AM (2013).
