England will play their final Nations League Group Stage game against Germany tonight.

The Three Lions have already been relegated from their League A group with one game remaining.

Gareth Southgate’s team have had a miserable campaign, with their place in League B for the next installment of the Nations League confirmed following a 1-0 defeat to Italy on Friday night.

Despite nothing being on the line for England in terms of the Nations League, tonight’s match will be the last game England will play before the World Cup in Qatar as well as the final one before Southgate names his squad for the tournament.

Germany can no longer finish top of the group, with a 1-0 defeat to Hungary on Friday evening ending their hopes of reaching the Nations League finals in 2023.

Here is what you need to know ahead of England’s match with old rivals Germany.

What time does England vs Germany start?

What is the team news?

Jack Grealish is unavailable through suspension, whilst John Stones returns from his ban which kept him away from the defeat in Milan.

Southgate may look to field a team similar to the starting XI he has in mind for England’s opening game of the World Cup against Iran.

However, Southgate could give minutes to the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Tammy Abraham and Jarrod Bowen.
